Things that bring me joy
- Witnessing the best friendship continue between our two youngest chitlins
- Watching my oldest son be such a good, gentlemanly boyfriend
- Listening to my hunnie turn potential crises into positive interactions between people
- A brilliant cup of coffee in my silent house at 10 a.m.
- Being welcomed home by the waggle and smile of my adoring dog Minuit
- Having my cat come and snooze on my lap while I work at the computer
- Chocolate
- Being taken back to a cocoa farm in the Dominican Republic by a single bite of papaya
- Watching my babies morph into young men and woman (okay that one kinda freaks me a tad...)
- The absence of pain (thank you, Dr. Dean, chiropractor extraordinaire!)

YAHHHHHH! You went to a chiropractor! Congratulations!
aw....what an awesome list. That cup of morning coffee in a silent house is one I treasure as well. Although I'm sure the silence won't last too much longer, as I have a baby ever so slowly becoming a boy, which from what I hear, are loud.
Ohhh, the joys of living! How good it truely is. Thank you for sharing your joys with us. We rejoice with you sister.

mmmm great list.
So, i don't get it though - how does papaya take you to a cocoa farm?? no comprendo!
mmm i love chocolate too. someone sent me some Tchibo (German brand) Venezualan chocolate a week ago and I rationed it. so amazing.
Because when we visited a local farm, our hosts gave us papaya straight off the stem for a snack and it was UNBELIEVABLE. (We also tasted dominican hot chocolate made over an open fire which is indescribable. I tried to make it at home, with no success.)
great list!~
